Anthony Rappo was named 2009 NJFFL Manager of the Year today. He became the second person in four years to earn the award as an Expansion team. Anthony finished up the season going 10-3 in his inaugural season with over 3400 points. Although Boston had a solid 12-1 showing, Deptford had a much higher hill to climb. They won the Kalas Divison and made the playoffs as the #2 seed and ultimately lost to the 2009 NJFFL Champion Whippany Warriors.
Manasquan Massacre’s Brad Engleberger was also considered for the award.
